Its a very unique pistol that has a locking mechanism that's closer to an AR15 than any other pistol. The engineering is quite good, its a very interesting piece. I have no doubt that if someones hands were strong enough it could stand up to an IDPA pistol shoot, just no human on earth could pull it off.
I can understand why someone would want one in their collection, it represents what the Israelis and IMI is capable of when they are having a bit of fun. Total opposite of what they usually produce.
Its a lot like a 300SEL 6.3, that's what you get when engineers screw around.

I did drive my 91 Firebird all year long in WI so be careful with where you go with that comparison. Rain, shine, snow, etc, etc.
You don't have to shoot 50 AE all day. You can have it in 44 Mag and it is fine for plinking after gtting used to it.
I don't know. Do they produce a lot of junk? I have their rifle and it is a nice piece with a graphite barrel using a Ruger action. Interesting piece. The Desert Eagle is another animal altogether. It is easy to field clean and reasonably accurate and highly reliable.
Never looked at that car. A lot too old for my liking.
