Point taken. I'll ride my sport bike down to 25 F. Rain or snow and I'm taking a car, however.

You don't have to shoot 50 AE all day. You can have it in 44 Mag and it is fine for plinking after gtting used to it.

.44 Mag? I'd rather plink with .45 Colt. Truth be told I've been hankering after a .22 for the cheap ammo.

I don't know. Do they produce a lot of junk? I have their rifle and it is a nice piece with a graphite barrel using a Ruger action. Interesting piece. The Desert Eagle is another animal altogether. It is easy to field clean and reasonably accurate and highly reliable.

No personal experience with IMI, but considering the daily situation Israel has been in since its founding, I would think they would put a lot of effort into making weapons that aren't junk.

Never looked at that car. A lot too old for my liking.

Here is where our tastes differ. If I had more money to spend on cars, there's an excellent chance I'd own a 6.3. I even very briefly considered picking up a low priced 6.9 that came up recently. However for the time being I'm on a budget that's more tuned to the automotive equivalent of a Kalashnikov.
