ugly sound when turning right with 123 300d

my 1980 w123 300turbodiesel automatic makes a nasty hammering sound when i turn to the right. It sounds like its comming from the rear. I thought it had to be something with the drivetrain, but now I've changed both the diff and all the axels going from the tranny to the wheels.
I did notice that the rear gearbox mount is broken, but I cant see how that can be the issue when turning left is no problem.
After listening closely, it can seem as if the hammering follows the rpm of the engine, and not the axels. But then again, i changed the motor mounts about 4 months ago.

Anybody got any ideas? Anything can help!
cheers
