I have ATE PowerDiscs on the wagon & 500E, along with "yellow-box" Textar pads.

I use only MB brake-grease along with the original stainless-steel shims, and they are NOT noisy at all. Very quiet.

I used the MB brake-grease and shims with Porterfield brake-pads on the ATE PowerDiscs and again no noise and no warping.

BTW- you MUST upgrade to the 400E/500E master-cylinder and double-diaphragm brake-booster to REALLY get the effect of the larger calipers & rotors.
