I attribute this to considerably better organization, better similarity or purpose, and better discipline within the ranks of the party.

I think these characteristics carry over into the media outlets biased either way. With what the right characterizes as the main stream media for the left, you have a lot of conflict, a lot of disunity, call it a group of people all with slightly different agendas. With the right, you have a far more disciplined and smooth running machine. Its smaller, but its unity is impressive.

Take "swift boat veterans for justice" as an example, the speed of that attack, and its clarity was like an electrical fire through the nation. In the same election, take the data dug up about dubyas national guard stuff and how it was used in attack, way less properly done, not delivered with consummate skill and speed, and easily defeated in detail
