I think you missed something. The Conservative Media is Smaller but better funded. It does not have to be as large as the Liberal Media because the Audience is smaller.

The Liberal Media has to cater to a larger Audience that had more divers ideas so that makes it seam disorganized.

All of the Medias have to get the attention of the Target Audience and hold it. Part of that means they have to say what the Target Audience wants to hear; even if that is BS.
