The car us in the shop. I had a coolant leak about a month ago and put bars radiator fix in it could that have clogged it? Or was that a sight that my pump was failing and leaking coolant? I found a article on this site about water pump failure . And I have the same symptoms they talked about! I drive and it stays at normal op temp and when at red lights it starts to heat up . I am ready to go take my car to a different ship because they have no idea what's wrong with it. If I could find out and troubleshoot via Internet then they could to! I'm tight on cash right now so I'm having to use a credit account I have with Firestone! This sucks I need my car and I feel like my first assumption was right about the water pump . Could a faulty water pump be the reason the fans not turning or is this normal and the fans not supposed to move? I seen a YouTube video that showed a bad fan clutch and the fan blade was turning with no resistance?
