Waaaaaaaiting for the jetway to connect or waiting for a gate to open up is the most irritating part of the flight. Give me a 30-40 seater with stairs any day!

Keep in mind, it's Kona (KOA). Tourists getting off and on 767 or the interisland 717s with their carry ons isn't fast or easy. The humidity factor is also at play since there is no part of the check in, security or gates that are not open (except roofs) to the weather and noise of the airport.
