Yes the clutch is different on each style compressor. I've never replaced or adjusted an R4 clutch like yours, but a little googling should get the information you need. Measure the air gap with a feeler gauge and if it is wider than spec, find out how to adjust it. Even if you have to replace the clutch, it would be a pittance of a job as opposed to a correct compressor replacement procedure.
