As I recall, you can get a brand new one like that for $400 at Home Depot. I might be way off, but it seems like that was the price.

That size compressor will be a huge improvement, but it won't keep up with a DA or an HVLP paint gun. I have an old Sharpe that it would keep up with, but it wastes paint as opposed to an HVLP.
