To do a transmission I use really long wobble socket extensions like 2ft long or longer in total. Drop the rear trans mount and pull the flex disc to sag the trans as much as you can. I guide the socket onto the bolt with one hand and turn the ratchet with the other.


It sucks, but its doable. I've never done a 400E but I've done 190E 2.6 which is super tight as well.
