I'll check next time I remove the cluster, but have no reason to suspect that the speedo has been changed, as the vehicle's mileage history matches Carfax. I do have an '84 speedometer, but the interface for the cruise control is different. I just want to confirm that the problem is NOT a drive gear in the transmission, but can be corrected at the speedometer. I suspected the trans. because I know it has been changed.
