I'm trying to figure out what differential would suit my 1982 300SD the best. I would like something lower than the stock 3.07:1, and a LSD would be ideal (I live in New England and plan to drive the car year-round). I read that the 500SL was offered with a 2.77:1 rear at one time, and I'd like to know whether that was a LSD or not.
