Since he was a bit behind on his 'booming' schedule he included his cell number so they could call him with the info.

(If I had been at the home office I would have e-mailed back 'Do not expect us to hurry just because you waited until the last minute!')

Anyway, the Feds were able to take the info and use it to stop the guy who really was planning on some major killing.
