The Mrs. rented us a cabin in the smokeys in the northwest corner of NC near Cherokee. the driveway is so steep you have to build up a head of steam a quarter of a mile before you get to it and drive past the entrance to the cabin and back down into the parking space!

Lovely scenery around here. Friendly folks too. Lovely daughter#3 and her family is joining us so we'll prolly be hiking and so forth to beat the band. I am in Sylva at the library (a most impressive faciility in the old County government building built on the tallest mini mountain in town) using the computer.

So I'll be a bit scarce around here for a week.
