Do you expect your friends to take an objective and dispassionate view of situations in your life? I like friends to support me in the hours of crisis. After the crisis, my friends can help me see if I over-reacted, but my friends' purpose is to support me.
There is a time for everything in its season, under the sun. A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to gather stones, and a time to cast away stones. A time to support a friend, and a time to help a friend see the whole picture.
