Ok, I have tested for continuity on the gear shifter when it is reverse and I have it.....I have jumped the plug for the reverse lights and no lights come on...so I guess it is not a bad back up light switch on the gear shifter board. Correct?

Any other ideas as to why my backup lights don't work? I have tested and looked the wiring in the trunk area and the fuse has been replaced as I have turn signals which is the same fuse (#4) location.

I need some advice!!! Help please as this is a safety hazard and I don't want to take it to my indie at $100/hour to hunt and seek.
