Cranks position sensor help

Resolved***

97 e320
I just replaced my CPS with a new one as per instructions from pelican parts.
When I started the car I hear a loud whining sound
I removed the CPS and it seem like the flywheel is rubbing the bottom of it.
I replaced it with the old one and now that begins to graze the bottom also.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?
The area is tight to work in so I can't see a thing, just feel my way through.
Unclip the harness
Unbolt the hex
Remove the cps
Install CPS
Bolt the hex
Attach the harness
Start the car
What next? Was there some kind of shim or spacer between the cps and the engine?
I managed to stick my phone and snap a pick of the flywheel.
You can see where the edge is grazing. Also the old and new cps.

Ps I did not unplug the battery.

Called the dealer part only ordered from Germany.
Went to junk yard and got one for 10 bucks.
To all the DIY'ers, please be careful.
Admin, feel free to use my pic for the DIY and update it.
