His argument that capitalist private property is not part of the Bible seems tight to me. The part about 'not enforcing' those laws seems odd and forced upon the text. In fact his main argument in defense of this part is that the law applied to rulers as well which in no way bears on the issue of whether the law should be enforced or not. I can only imagine that he's trying to avoid issue of whether these biblical economic ideas should become enforceable parts of current law. Apparently he thinks not.
