To understand to LB phenomena you must understand that IMO, and you may agree with this, no one has more enemies than LB, and few allies. There is no more a team effort regarding him than a team effort to try and shoo a junebug outside, a lot of people might jump up to get rid of it because it irritates them. An unusually high percentage of people simply don't like him, and those that could be allies stay out of it because he rarely helps himself by constantly compomising his position, which also makes him an easy target to respond to in an argument. This high percentage of enemies has less to do with his beliefs than in his method of expressing them, and in endless often poorly researched political theads. Almost everyone who has encountered larry in an argument has been called a series of adjectives implying they are less honest, less honorable, less wise, an generally so morally degraded that they represent the downfall of society. Combine that with him also starting an extremely high percentage of politially charged threads, so naturally is at the center of a high percentage of arguements. So basically, I wouldn't feel all that sorry for him, he reaps what he sews.
