The arguments about his attitudes towards women and sexuality that you're mentioning are... well, stupid.
Most of the arguments require someone to ignore the cultural, geographic and textual context of his words. In addition the women he praises and the men he chastises for mistreatment of women are ignored in such arguments.
In addition Paul was married. And I know that some will dismiss this as something that even gay men can do, especially to deny themselves. But it seems quite far reaching to make the argument in the first place.
The argument that Paul was gay in any way stems not from his writings, culture, tradition, etc, but rather as a petty polemic against Christian belief.
