There are hundreds of things you do daily as part of society that I don't hear you complaining about, and most of these requirements are about public safety.
Let me guess, like a trained monkey performing a circus act on command, Im willing to bet you typically drive on the right side of the street, and generally follow speed rules. How dare you never questions these rules and just go along to get along?
The Marine being a Marine has little to do with it. Like I said earlier, you think an organization tasked with screening aircraft passengers should be impressed on a case by case basis by what someone is wearing, and as I also linked, a marine uniform is readily available to anyone. A screening program like that might as well be a piece of swiss cheese. If we are going to have it, lets make it consistent.
