I am for emissions regulation in California because I see the difference it can make in the several valleys this state has in which the smog just lingers, so I can see how they are attacking this pastime.
But I would be disappointed if this proposal passes. We've had bonfires at Dockweiler Beach for years and it is always a great time. We've had huge fires there, one year we burned like a 100 ft of old Douglas Fir fencing there. So I am very guilty of contributing to the smog.
If anything, small engines are what the state should be going after if they need to go after something. But the push back would be huge.
