Medicine is about what my schooling can do for me. You can tell me all about how good your career is in helping those in need but somewhere is the issue of payment. If you benefit, so be it. We are working for ourselves in one way or another and we will be paid in one coin or another be it cash, ego stroking, warm feeling in our toes, etc, etc.
Lets not forget our friend the government when you say that. Once you become a player in the game, you are not exempt from blame when things go south. You might debate about what your contribution might have done, speculate about how bad it MIGHT be (since you can never know) without you or rail on another party that is involved but you cannot remove your presence in the matter. Didn't someone talk about student loans and there was govt involvement and it was said to cause the cost to go up?
