Last night, when it was still too hot for the window AC unit to cool the living room, we set up some chairs in the basement, turned on the radio, grabbed some books and my laptop, and enjoyed the 15 degree difference.

It's supposed to be like this all week...

What are you calling hot? We've had a break from the heat for a few days and haven't seen nineties since Saturday. It's been quite pleasant. Saturday before last it was close to 100 and high humidity. I was working on the SLK in my non air conditioned shop and about died.

I started putting it back together yesterday afternoon and it was only in the mid eighties. Quite a pleasant change and made for a pleasurable evening in the shop. I'm hoping to finish tonight before the heat comes back later in the week.

We've already seen double digits, so it's nice to see a break from it, even if only for a few days.
