I did that before...no A/C, no doors or windows to provide crossbreeze, and one small fan. I'd go in, strip my shirt, wearing shorts, put my apron on and use a c-clamp on the air gun to keep it blowing on me. To handle the chaffing from the heat, I took two baby socks, filled them with alum, then put one in each pocket.

None of it was enough...they ended up carting me off to the hospital in an ambulance with air on full blast, trying to cool me down. It was 130 degrees in the shop, with a black flat top roof. I did it for a week before the weather finally broke...

Since then, I don't handle heat well at all...I moved the window AC out of my daughter's bedroom and put it in another window in the living room this morning. I now have two 5000 BTU units blowing, and it's still warm. I think I'm going to go to the beer store, not for the beer, but because they have a very large cooler that you can walk into...
