Yep, like I said earlier GZ was fighting for his life. He's lucky to be alive.

Had TVM not decided to climb on top of him and start beating on him (by witness account), he may still be alive too. Even if i was there, I don't think I'll know what was went into GZ's mind. I can't read minds

Based on the law as it is, this was the only verdict. Had this incident happened in the say the UK, where no one can legally own a gun, GZ would have gone to prison for a very long time.

But unless the law changes, he did not commit a crime and neither will anyone else be.

Now don't get me wrong, I think that this is a tragedy, I'm sorry that he died, he could have gown up to an up standing man. I'm sorry for his parents, their pain must be unimaginable.

This deal could have gone down a million ways but what happened happened the way it did and a young man was shot while attacking a guy that seemed to have pissed him off by his actions.

We could talk about a million alternate endings to lay the blame on either party.
  • He could have knocked GZ and killed him,
  • GZ could have had his gun drawn and killed in before he within 6ft of him.
  • They could have approached each other in a non threatening way, explained their positions and go their merry way.

It doesn't change how it happened and why GZ was not found guilty.
