Passing on two lane roads can be tough. It was so bad when I drove a 240D that I seldom even tried. I don't do all that much of it in the 300. Now when I get on the 650, I have enough acceleration capability to execute passes very quickly, which reduces the time and distance I have to spend in the other lane, and also reduces the amount of time available for the drivers I'm passing to change their control inputs. These are good things.
