This article doesn't - but if you follow the all the links embedded within the article, then you'll start to see why there's such a fuss about this journalist's fate.
He seems to be a fairly well respected journalist, so I wonder why the POTUS would want him to remain imprisoned.
Regarding the prize, I agree - he should never have accepted it in the first place. However, at the time I believe he was awarded the prize because of his position regarding the on-going conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
However, he has since decided its safer to play polics as usual and seems to have no problem with U.S. drone strikes and indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians.
