Link: if you're paid up, you're unlikely to have a conflict with the IRS. The tsuris will be on the company's end, and that qualifies as Not Her Problem(tm).
If the company is owned by a Sicilian syndicate who'd be willing to use extreme measures, I'd change that view, of course.
