Howdy,

As I understand there are alot of benefits to running biodiesel (higher cetane, smoother running, cleans the fuel system), but there are also alot of disadvantages. Biodiesel cloud point is much higher than petro diesel. Also, the disadvantage they have been discussing ad-naseum over on the TDI forum is the corrosion problem. Bio diesel is hygroscopic and when mixed with water can corrode your injection system.

Any of you running bio have any experience with the negatives?
