On Friday last week the Mrs. and I were on the interstate, tooling along in the fast lane at a rate of about 8 mph over the limit. As I approached a semi to pass it I happened to look toward my right as I was very close to the back of the semi. I spotted a fast moving BMW heading for the quickly closing gap. I thought he would not make it and steered to my left and braked a bit to give him more room. He shot the gap with inches to spare on both his corners. If I had not given him room I believe we would have had a real problem.
