Hard to say. The guy Osborne looks pretty strange. There are some creeps out and about.

Yahoo answers says there is a fake site but it's .org whereas the .net site is real:

Who runs the landover baptist forum/site?

These sites have been passed around the internet due to their insane and ridiculous content. It's been clearly established that the whole thing is a parody of baptists/fundamentalist christianity. However, they seem to be putting alot of effort into this parody - writing lots of content, making numerous forum posts, heavily researching scripture, etc. What group is running this, and are they making money off of it? I assume chris harper, but who else?

While it is funny and entertaining, it seems like alot of work for a joke.

Chris Harper runs the .org site, which is a parody of the real .net (forums) site. That's why people get confused on which is a parody and which is not. On the forums, you will find people with 10,000, even 50,000 posts(!) who know the Bible in and out. The forum is extremely active and the moderators are very strict to anyone who tries to make fun of Christianity and whatnot. The forum is the real deal, but I have no idea who runs it. Could be Pastor Ezekiel or Rev. Jim Osborne or Levi Jones or someone.
