What are your costs per gallon when making biodiesel? I'm interested in the $$ aspects of the lye & methanol. And am assuming that you get the fryer-oil free of charge.

Also, could you run biodiesel in a oil fired house furnace?

I'm interested in perhaps doing some brewing this summer.
