I think the om602 will do somewhat better, but it's hard to say exactly. You can look at what the turbo 617 and the 602 are on paper. I wanted better fuel mileage and low-end torque. I got this motor and they did the top end of the motor, new head, turbo, etc.

I just had a power steering pump hose fail and I have to go to shop to get another hose made.

Add to the 2 hours spent chasing wiring, when it turned out the brand new starter button was bad. Replaced it and now the hose. I have a small oil leak that I will fix now too.

I am going to put a heat-shield around the battery because it is so close to the turbo.
