I can't explain it, but the Koran is pretty clear on killing folks: If you kill a fellow Muslim by accident then it can be forgiven. Accidents do happen no matter how careful you are.

But if you kill a fellow Muslim by choice then there is no forgiveness. Not now; not never.

I think some of the Mullas claim they can speak for Allah in this matter and give you a special sort of permission on this, but I am not sure how that works.

By the way... The killing of fellow Muslims if not allowed and neither is the killing of leaders of any other religion. Ministers, Missionaries, Nuns.... They may not be Muslims, but they are religious people and the day may come when they see the error of their ways and convert to Islam.

I am not a Muslim, so all I know is what I have picked up from reading the Koran. If anyone wants to jump in here and correct anything I said they will not hurt my feelings.

I'm not trying to pretend I understand any of this.
