As stated in my original post on this thread, possibly the brake lights weren't checked on the inspection. I doubt that all 3 burned out in a week. The exterior lights are supposed to be checked at the maintenance services A and B, but just like the state inspectors, possibly this has been overlooked by whoever has been doing the service work on it.

Remember the basics, if I have an inop bulb and it appears to be fine, I still use an ohm meter to check it's resistance. i had an inop bulb last week which looked fine but was completely open circuit. A failed bulb doesn't neccesarily have a blown filament.

I understood you checked the bulb. Myarmar pasted my question to you on his last post, I am still uncertain why. Either he wanted you to check again, or he is questioning why I asked to begin with.
