[SIZE="3"]Last week I purchased a 1999 SL500 with 22,000 miles that is very very minty. I drove it to KC last weekend and everything was perfect. My son and DIL took it for a spin and the AC blower died. We put in the garage and the next morning I headed home with everything working fine. The OAT was about 80 degrees F. Then I took it to Wallyworld for provisions when the OAT was around 95 and the blower motor shut down. I stumbled on to this link http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/sl-forum/120267-1999-sl-500-blower-issue-help-please.html that was posted here long ago. I ran the diagnostics and bingo.....I came up with a egregious temp. I ordered the evaporator temp sensor from ******** and it will be here on Monday. I was dreading a huge repair bill but if this solution works I will be spending lots of time on this forum. Here is a picture of my new toy. Regards, Rick.
