CS has the ability to read version coding from a old engine computer then transfer it to a new _UNLOCKED_ engine computer.

I've read the coding in hopes of generating a binary file but, carsoft just holds the file captive until the new computer is installed. ( haven't tried to transfer to new computer yet )

Any idea if the BIN is accessible?

From what I've read, ME20 / 21 has 40 free starts until it locks to prevent reprogramming. I believe Beckman can unlock to allow transfer.


There is an Italian hand held programmer called " My Genius " that is designed to read programming , transfer the file to a tuner company then they send it back to be written to the engine computer. Any idea if this generates a standard BIN?
