I've been asking these same questions concerning 'licensed drivers' for years. I see eighty year old drivers who can't see past their own windshield out on the roads every day. They need to call a taxi or a limo service instead of driving while blind. Instead, all of us best be on the lookout for granny driving a Buick while blind because she is headed straight for you!!!
And Granny's right to aim her Le Sabre down the road is enabled by a permit called a driver's license. Makes sense that if she can still qualify for a permit to drive, shouldn't a blind person who qualifies for a gun permit be also qualified to hold a driver's license?
