As a firefighter-medic for the past 13 years in the city of Richmond and in a rural system that has Interstate 95 in it's First Due I have worked many car and truck wrecks. They of course occurred at all speeds and aspects.

I have never seen anyone seriously injured by an airbag deployment. Airbag injuries have been limited to minor friction burns on arms or face.
