I had just checked out at a local pick-n-pull when a gentleman asked about the scrap value of his 1995 E320
I went over and saw the car myself, and it was a beautiful brilliant silver over black car. One owner over the last 10 years. Previously starmarked...no wrecks. Not even a crack in the leather but the wiring harness was the last straw. Fortunately, he rejected the $300 offer by the junkyard and offered me the car for $1000. I honestly don't have enough room for it but it really seemed worth saving. Not sure if I wanted to sink $800-$900 in it for a new OEM harness so a used updated (circa 2002 and up) harness seemed like the best idea. Anyone have a good one or know where to find one. Also would anyone really want the car in case I pass it up...I will gladly pass along this guy's phone number.
