I don't know what to make of the Koch brothers' bailing on the GOP strategy. My guess is for all their *****ing, the economy is treating them just fine, thank you very much. The funnier defections were from Freedom Works and Heritage Action. It looks to me as if they bailed, despite having been among the strategy's cheerleaders, for two reasons: (1) their big-money donors asked, "WTF?" and (2) they are unprincipled jerks who play their followers and supporters for the suckers they are.
