Good to hear it is fixed, it is always a leap of faith when everything ( that one knows to check ) looks good and the part one knows the least about just has to be ( we hope ) where the problem is.

The brown squares on the left side running vertically are capacitors. One of these might be shorted. Look at the connector pins then track it back to the board surface.
