Well..I don't know. I'm just givin this post a shot to see if I can help this guy out a little and
maybe save him upwards of a grand. He said he could smell gas, but he also said the thing about the rotten eggs. I don't know if he specifically said that the exhaust smelled that way, but he mentioned the smell in general. Could the O2 sensor be bad in addition to the flooding? Or could the flooding have damaged the O2 sensor? But assume for the sake of this post that it is in fact flooding. Is there something other than the fuel distributor itself that could cause this? O-ring? Cold start valve? Injectors? And if yes, which is most likely?
