Thank You

I guess I had a brain cramp.

It never occurred to me to take out the carpet. Duh.

From what I have read, this is my plan to be implemented next month after I get back from the SEMA show in Las Vegas.

Remove carpet. Spray the floor with Dawn and cover the floor in kitty litter, vacuum out the litter and wipe with paper towels and repeat until oil free. My daughter bought me a little shop vac for Father's Day, so I'm ahead of the game on that point.

Take the carpet to the nearby carwash. Try the flour route first using their vacuum for a couple of times. Rub GoJo or DL Cleaner into the carpet, let it soak and then hit it with high pressure spray. Use the car wash vacuum to mostly dry the carpet. Reinstall carpet after a couple of weeks of air drying.

I'll let you know the results in a month or so.
