they call it satin finish, but it appears to be unfinished/stained wood. no varnish on it. looked really nice. felt fantastic. I love the texture of wood grain.
new leather seats don't thrill me, but they were comfortable. the motor purred. nice large trunk, but of course, no spare... just a giant adblue tank.
I expected it to have 18" wheels, but they appeared to be 16's small in appearance... classy, not showey...

Great to hear about. I've not been in a MB dealership in several months now, so it's good to hear some firsthand observations by other MB diesel fans. I'm kind of skeptical about ever buying another new MB diesel, especially when assessing what they cost new - but it sure is entertaining to see 'em. Love to see your pics. when you get time to post 'em.
