I have pulled a 616 using a harbor freight chainfall, and a yoke made of chain instead of a load leveling bar. I think I hung it from a loop of 5/16" chain over a 2x8 (important, w/ the 8" side vertical). Span of the beam was probably 10 feet, given that I got the car in the bay. I'll take luck but can't recommend it. Better double up on the 2x8's if you try the same- wood's cheaper than adverse outcomes.
