The sway bar is out! My dog is wondering why I threw a auto part into the back yard!

I was just so happy and had to release some of it...
Two issues. One was the rusted heater core and tubing so wasn't coming free. Thought I could avoid the headache, but just dove in and figured replacing a heater core was more doable than engine fiddling.
Second was the washer were rusted so good on the sway bar, thought it was part of it...

Once I noticed one was acting loose, worked and tapped it off along with the other side. Having a one pound dead blow is SO nice! Light enough I don't do damage (can't feel how hard I use my hands due to autism) but just enough to tap.
ll told, last try was only twenty minutes.
What was a help was instead of leaning over the engine, I climbed onto the engine, then squatting wiggled most of it up. Got down and finagled the rest of the vacuum lines out of the way.
So, thank you all for the help!

Now if anyone needs to do crane work, there is some wonderful ideas.
As for the chain on a joist, I can run the calculations using a point load or U.D.L., so maybe some day when I build a little studio, figure out a way to nose in an auto and design the structure strong enough.

I knew there was a reason why I have to know structural systems and loads!
