Having owned literally over 340 cars and motorcycles over the years, I've seen some crazy bodges.
A couple of noteworthy ones.
Daughters BF bought a F150 at the auction and brought it over saying it was pulling bad to the left when brakes were applied. Took the wheels off and there was no right front caliper at all, and a vice grip was pinching off the soft line.
Back in the '70s before I joined the Navy I was working at a cheezy car lot. Owner took a pinto in on trade and the motor locked up as I was moving it, brought it into the shop and found a piece of leather used as a big end bearing...but that wasn't why it locked, it was another rod that had a big end bearing slip.
